Core Responsibilities Creative Direction & StrategyDefine and oversee the creative vision for campaigns, ensuring alignment with organizational valuesand goals.Act as a strategic thought partner, providing innovative storytelling ideas and input to leadership.Art Direction & Relationship ManagementCollaborate with creative staff, creative partners and consultants, including freelance designers,videographers, and photographers, to deliver high-quality work.Assist with building and maintaining strong relationships with external creative vendorsProject Oversight & AdministrationCollaborate with the Social Impact Director/Program Manager to manage timelines, budgets, anddeliverables for all creative projects, ensuring efficiency and adherence to organizational priorities.Assist in creative administrative tasks such as drafting briefs, managing creative contracts, andfacilitating collaboration between internal and external teams.Occasional Hands-On SupportStep in to capture or create content (e.g., videography or photography) on very rare occasions whenadditional support is needed.Collaboration Across TeamsWork closely with internal teams, including the Executive Director, Social Impact Director, SeniorMedia Strategist, and Digital Organizer, to align creative efforts with overarching messaging andnarrative goals.Serve as a creative thought partner on integrating creative strategies into both digital and traditionalmedia platformsWE’RE ON THE LOOK-OUT FOR: We are seeking a skilled and visionary part-time Creative Advocacy Director to lead creative strategy andoversee visual storytelling efforts for pro-democracy campaigns and initiatives. This individual will serve as acreative thought partner and administrative leader, managing relationships with our creative partners andconsultants while ensuring the alignment of creative projects with organizational goals.
